Story Overview[]
The album is set in 2632, after Invictus Daedalus. The album cover depicts Hydrus.
Alithea and Amyntas go to Empyrean to seek out Hydrus, a neutral Titanborn. Hydrus tests them both, internally/emotionally. They have a world-smashing Ayahuasca-style ego/fear death. Alliances are made and plans for revenge evolve. Alithea and Amyntas return to the Erebus Bridge, where Enyo surprises them.
There is some cross-play between the song Invictus Daedalus and When Virtue Meets Steel. "Prepare to feast upon the sound of Empyrean cries" in Invictus Daedalus and "Two Titans breaking peace. They seek a grand feast" from When Virtue Meets Steel. Insurgency war is declared.
